Scientific Information Officer
IFIS Publishing (Registered Charity No. 1068176) is a specialist information provider serving the food industry and academia worldwide. We are seeking a Scientific Information Officer (SIO) for our Editorial & Production Department to prepare records for our internationally renowned bibliographic database FSTA – Food Science and Technology Abstracts®.
The successful candidate will have an Honours degree in one of the life sciences, and will be keen to develop a career in scientific editing. An eye for detail and good organizational skills are essential, together with the ability to work to targets and deadlines. An interest in the food industry and nutrition related issues is desirable. Starting salary will be UK£21,000 per annum.
